Parents Without Partners is where you meet people and make friends PROGRAM OVERVIEWParents Without Partners has over 1,000 activities a year in it's program for members. An activity on every day of the week. The majority of functions are strictly for members only, however there are a few open singles functions held each year such as harbour cruises and singles dances. Each month our branches host 'Introduce a Friend Nights' where members can bring a single friend who may be considering joining PWP.PWP is run by the volunteer single parent members for the members. There are many volunteers who help create this wonderful and diverse program. Helping as a volunteer is a great way to meet people and make new friends. Help yourself help others by becoming involved in PWP. See a One Months Sample Parent Program here GREAT ADULT PROGRAMThe PWP parties are very popular - on every week hosted at a different member's home each time - music, dancing, mixing and mingling. Gents bring drinks and ladies bring the eats. Regular weekly activities include dinners, social tennis, bush walks as well as coffee and chat. There are a variety of other activities including BBQs, Soup Nights, Pasta Nights, Music Themed Nights, Wine & Dine, etc. Some dances and harbour cruises. Special monthly functions include a Book Club, Planet Ark Talk & Coffee Night, Bush Dancing, Live Theatre Nights. There are a few adult retreat week-ends each year including Mudgee and Hunter Valley Winery Trips. Read more about our PWP House Parties here FABULOUS CHILDREN'S PROGRAMEvery week-end PWP has children's activities that include cinema, ten pin bowling, picnics, mini-golf, beach days, amusements, sports centres, indoor rock climbing, sausage sizzles, kids discos, Reptile Park, Aquarium, and more.The special annual bus excursions to Dubbo Zoo, Jamberoo, Jindabyne, Thredbo and Smiggins Hole Snow Skiing are popular.There is also a creative arts and crafts program that many of the children and adults enter. Each year there is a school holiday camp and Christmas Holidays Camp which are reasonably priced and very popular with the kids.
